Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's yet another 24 hours to be grateful for. I truly thank you for being here for a quick look at how my day has been plus some of the trending stories I came across. Let's get started 💨.
So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. It drizzled at night so the ground was a little wet.A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores. I did stop by the shopping centre for some groceries then went home to cook.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, Kenyan president is on a state visit to Israel after attending the coronation in the UK at the weekend.
Speaking of Israel, it carried out an overnight airstrike in Gaza that killed 15 people😭, including three senior members of the Islamic Jihad. This morning thousands of protesters joined the funeral procession and vowed revenge🙀.
Pakistan also trending as angry protesters marched the streets in various cities🙀. This after former PM Imran Khan was arrested after appearing in a Islamabad court.
They stormed and raided the army headquarters in Rawalpindi😹.
Tomorrow schools and government offices will remain closed. Meanwhile mobile internet has been turned off 😡.
In Russia, Putin led the country in celebrating victory day. The day when the Soviet union defeated nazi Germany. A military parade and some military display.
Across the pond, former president Donald Trump had been found guilty of sexual abuse🙀. The victim has been awarded $5 million in damages🎊.
