Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. So glad that you stopped by yet again 👏. Am really grateful for this day and before it ends we will quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending news. You know how we do it daily, so let's get cracking 💨.
Just like yesterday, it was an early start with the fast paced morning session. I enjoyed the fresh morning breeze 🍃 as I brisk walked 👣 and jogged around the cloudy neighborhood. A short but enjoyable walk 💯.
Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some fruits and veggies. Next came the refreshing nap💤. Then I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news. There were some interesting EPL matches going on.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze. Just like yesterday, it's raining out there tonight.
Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. There were reports of flooding in the western part of the country. It's been raining everywhere.
Over in Sudan, the army and the RSF have agreed to extend the 72 hour ceasefire. However, shelling and artillery gunfire heard in several areas🙀. Fighting in Khartoum has been focused around army headquarters and presidential palace.
Let's go to Ukraine where the head of wagner forces has threatened to pull out of Bakmut if Russia doesn't send them ammunition.
Across the pond in the US, Texas police have expanded their search for a man who shot and killed 5 of his neighbours including an eight year old. Meanwhile US regulators are rushing to sell off troubled first Republic bank before opening of business in Asia.
Finally, Paraguayans have been voting in a tightly contested presidential election and also for congress and governors. Let's hope the best candidates win💯.
