Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day. Over in Sudan not such a quiet day. A 24 hour cessation of hostilities didn't take effect because gun fire has been heard around the city. It's been 4 days of fighting between the army and the para military group. Today people ventured out looking for food and water.
Up in Tunisia, police detained three prominent officials of the main opposition party after arresting it's leader 🙀.
Elsewhere president Zelensky and president Putin both met some of their soldiers, of course in Ukraine and Russia. The fighting still rages in Bakmut.
In Russia, US journalist has appeared in a Russian court where he lost his detention appeal. He will therefore not be released on bail🙀.
Across the pond in the US, a very annoying case of a racist deranged man who shot a teenage boy for wrongly ringing his door bell. Thank God the boy didn't die but neighbors held a protest outside that house.
Finally, a new coral reef has been discovered near the Galapagos islands. It's several thousand years old and in pristine condition. 2 km long and 400 metres deep💯.
