So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon to the shopping centre for groceries. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media.
Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans 😹, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, ICC has issued an arrest warrant for Putin on war crime allegations. He has allegedly been involved in abductions of children from Ukraine 🙀. UN backed investigation has revealed Russia's crimes.
Elsewhere in France, frustration and anger took over protesters after that retirement bill was forcefully passed. Running battles with police and lots of arrests🙀. The unions have vowed to continue protests and strikes.
Let's go to Ankara in Turkey, where Finnish president met with his Turkish counterpart Erdogan. Turkey will be supporting Finland's bid to join NATO. I don't know if he will support Sweden 😹.
Trending in Pakistan, former PM Imran Khan appeared in court where he was granted protective bail for ten days. Of course he was accompanied by thousands of his loyal supporters 😹.
Let's finish off with what's trending in the US. President Biden called on congress to impose tougher penalties on senior bank officials who mismanage. Stocks especially bank stocks opened low on the markets. There's heightened monitoring of national banks amid turmoil of the failed banks.
Meanwhile bitcoin is about to touch 27k, we are probably looking at 30 k by next week 😹. Hive not doing bad at 42 cents🎊.
