Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world ☺️. It's been a wonderful day and am so grateful for it, there are many who wanted to see it but didn't, so for that am humbled. As always I am back to report on how the day has been plus some of the trending news I came across. Thank you for being here and let's get started 💨..
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some fruits and veggies. Next came the refreshing nap💤. Then I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, There was also some interesting and exciting football matches going on.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze.
Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Opposition announced peaceful protests will take place next week against the govt for the increase in prices of basic commodities including fuel and electricity.
Globally more protests, as more than a million people came out across France to protest against pension reforms. However, the French senate has approved Macron's pension plan 🙀.
Elsewhere, thousands protested in the Czech capital demanding govt lower energy prices and end military support for Ukraine 🙀. In Greece thousands rallied over the worst train crash in the country caused by negligence.
Across the pond more protests in Washington against visiting Israeli minister who once said a Palestinian town in the occupied west Bank should be wiped out 😡. He later apologized on social media but many aren't happy he was granted a visa🙀. Meanwhile former vice president Mike Pence has said history will hold Trump accountable for capitol attack 😹.
Let's go down to Chile where the left wing president marked his first year in office with a second cabinet reshuffle 🙀.
Trending in the middle east, Iran announced a prisoner swap with the US , but US state department denied any of it😹.
So while we are all crying at the pump, Saudi state oil company Aramco, has announced a historic record profit of $161 billion for 2022🙀.Biden went there last year to request them to drop oil prices but they didn't listen to him😹
Finally, let's hope bitcoin and cryptos won't fall again as we enter this new week. If you can, go ahead and buy the dip😹.
