Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for, a new week and I have had a great day. It's now that time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Today I feel like time has flow by so fast, but thank you for reading and let's get it done 💨.
So I had two major walks, starting off early with fast paced morning session. I brisk walked around the neighbourhood. At least today the sun was out on a beautiful Monday morning with an amazing fresh breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores. later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending and crypto news which I will share next. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk, enjoying the cool evening breeze.
So what's been trending. Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.
International Condom Day is celebrated on February 13 every year, one day before Valentine’s Day. The day is a fun, tongue-in-cheek way of reminding people to practice safety when being intimate with their partners. The day was set up as a way to remind people that condoms are one of the best ways to protect themselves not only from unwanted pregnancies but Sexually Transmitted Diseases (S.T.D.s) as well.
Globally, Turkey and Syria still trending a week after the devastating earthquakes. Believe it or not people still being pulled out alive🎊, today a ten year old girl was rescued. However, the death toll has reached over 37,000.
In northern Syria, there are calls to get more aid in. They are missing equipment for heavy lifting and lighting.
Also trending, NATO chief has said a new Russian offensive in Ukraine has started. Moscow is deploying more troops in a renewed push to seize Ukrainian territory🙀.
Finally, across the pond, the US is accusing China of using high altitude balloons for spying 😹. This after a few suspect objects were shot down around Alaska and in Canada too.
