Happy Sunday, and a very warm welcome to my world 😊.Hopefully you are fairing on well with your new year resolutions this far😹. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed. So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk as I slept a little longer this morning 😹. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and then the afternoon saw me go out to the mall for some groceries and window shopping.
Then I was back home for a short but refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some you tube videos and news. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, just another quiet Sunday, people relaxing enjoying the weekend before a new work week tomorrow.
Globally, China trending as they celebrate the Lunar new year🎊🎉. According to the calendar it's the year of the rabbit symbolizing wisdom and peace 💯. The movement of people going to celebrate with family is the biggest ever human migration 😹. Dragon dances and crowded temples was seen in many places in China.
Across the pond in the US, there's a trending story of a mass shooting in Monterrey California, where ten people have been shot dead and others injured😭. The suspect is said to be a man of Asian descent. He got away so be careful if you are in that vicinity. The motive still not known but must be a mental health issue.
Let's get into Europe, France in the news as President Macron met his German counterpart Scholz in Paris. Hopefully they discussed Ukraine and those tanks😹.
Speaking of Ukraine, today was unity day. President Zelensky in his speech said Ukraine will always be united and will win the current war. Former British PM, Boris, stopped by Kyiv to show support💯.
Down in New Zealand,politicians have ovewhelmingly picked Chris Hipkins to replace Jacinda Arden who is quitting office next month. Wishing him the very best💯.
Let's go to the middle east, trending in Israel, PM Benjamin Netanyahu has fired his close ally after the supreme court said that particular minister was unfit for office as he has tax fraud issues 🙀.
Finally, close by in Iran, the currency has hit a record low amid tensions with the west. If you are in Iran bitcoin and cryptos should be your new friends 😹. Same goes for everyone else, this fiat they keep printing ain't going to last.
