Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. It's almost mid month, I've had just another ordinary day stepping it out and as bedtime beckons, it's time to quickly take a look at how my day has been plus some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So I kicked off the day with some brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighbourhood 🌲. A cloudy day but with some beautiful morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting, a little bit of daily chores and catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the shopping centre for some food. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news, reading a few stuff before bedtime. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, a rather quiet day though. Looks like BTC has began pumping now over 18K🎊🎉, is the bull market coming back?
Globally, Ukraine trending as the fight for control of Soledar raged. According to Ukraine, more than 100 Russian troops were killed in the battle for the eastern town during the past day🙀.
Elsewhere, Sweden's state owned mining company said it had identified more than one million tonnes of rare earth minerals in the northern area of Kiruna 🎊🎉. EU is looking for other sources than China for these crucial minerals, but it will take at least a decade before Sweden's are available to industry.
Across the pond in the US, white house confirmed more classified files found at Biden's home and office when he was deputy president 🙀. Biden said his administration was cooperating fully with Justice Department review of handling classified files. The republicans have accused democrats of hypocrisy 😹.
In crazy weather, 2022 declared the fifth warmest in 140 years of record keeping, 28 nations had their hottest weather ever in 2022. Finally, California is bracing for more rain and flooding 🙀.
