Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. So have you started getting used to the new year yet, too early to forget your resolutions 😹. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day. Over in Benin, the big national voodoo festival was on , the day includes remembering enslaved ancestors. They say Benin's voodoo is the real deal 😹.
Globally, Ukraine trending as Russia intensified fighting in salt mining town of Soledar. Capturing the town would be a win for Russia. They will also get to block Ukrainian military supplies to Bakmut another strategic town that the Russians want too 😹. Let's see how that goes.
Elsewhere in western Germany, police had to move in to remove climate activists who are protesting and refusing the demolition of a village that sits on lots of coal🙀. The govt needs that coal😹.
In the UK, Prince Harry's tell all book is selling like hot cakes, people are nosy😹.Remember how Harry Potter books were flying off shelves? its that type of frenzy.
Across the pond in Mexico, the presidents of US, Canada and Mexico are meeting for cooperation in various issues affecting the region.
Down in Brazil, president Lula has blamed the military for not doing enough to protect govt buildings that were stormed, ransacked and defaced by former president supporters. Adding that those responsible should face the full force of the law💯.
Finally in crazy weather, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake shook parts of Indonesia and East Timor 🙀. Then in California tens of thousands of people have been evacuated as floods wreak havoc. Let's hope the skies take a break for a while💯.
