Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Come on 💨.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, Afghanistan trending as the Taliban are back to their old ways, announcing the suspension of female students from all universities 🙀. The UN condemned the new rule but the Taliban says it preserves national interest and women's honour😹.
Over in Ukraine, today president Zelensky was visiting soldiers in the front line east city of Bakmut. Handing out awards to some of the soldiers 💯. Elsewhere in the UK, the nurses strike entered day two, government still insisting they don't have the money🙀.
Across the pond in the US, California earthquake left tens of thousands without power 🙀. Meanwhile in Peru, congress is considering moving elections forward to early next year.
Finally, the Argentine team touched down today, Tuesday has been declared a national holiday and lots of people lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the champions🎊🎉.
A similar situation in Rabat, Morocco as the record breaking football team jetted back in. They've really made their country and Africa at large proud. Congratulations 🎊🎉 to them as well.
