Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for, a new week and I have had a great day. It's now that time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Today I feel like time has flow by so fast, but thank you for reading and let's get it done 💨.
So I had two major walks, starting off early with fast paced morning session. I brisk walked around the neighbourhood. At least today the sun was out on a beautiful Monday morning with an amazing fresh breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores. later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending and crypto news which I will share next. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk, this evening the rain caught me out so I had to run, thank goodness I was close to the house.
So what's been trending. Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, US president Biden and China's Xi Jinping trending as they met face to face for the first time since Biden became president two years ago 😹. This was in Bali Indonesia, where the G20 meeting will be held this week.
Elsewhere in Ukraine, president Zelensky stopped by in Kherson to reassure residents after Russian soldiers left. Meanwhile, CIA director and his Russian counterpart met in Ankara Turkey, with an aim of warning Russia against the use of nuclear weapons🙀.
Speaking of Turkey, after yesterday's explosion in Istanbul, Turkish authorities have laid the blame on Kurdish militia, PKK, arresting 46 people including a Syrian woman thought to have left the bomb on the pedestrian street🙀.
Also trending, France and the UK have signed a new deal, aimed at increasing patrols on French beaches to deter would be migrants from dangerously crossing into the UK on inflatable boats.
Still in the UK, superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has told Piers Morgan he feels like he is being forced out of Manchester united in an explosive interview 😹.
