Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Just another ordinary day and the stepping continued unabated. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, There was also some interesting football matches going on. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹., The Kenyan president left for Egypt's Sharm El Sheik were the UN COP27 climate conference is underway. Things are getting out of hand globally we have seen floods, heat waves, droughts and all manner of funny weather. The rate of global heating is at 2.7°C and the aim is to reduce it to 1.5°C. The richest countries are the biggest emitters and something needs to be done 💯 as poorer countries bear the brunt and the challenges.
Then celebrations as Kenyans won the New York and Istanbul marathons, congratulations 🎉 are in order 👋.
Globally, Ukraine trending as Russian installed administration in. Kherson blamed power outage on Ukraine accusing it of attacking the Kakhova Dam🙀.
Elsewhere in the UK, there was a protest march in London. Thousands calling for a general election amid the worsening cost of living crisis 🙀.
Across the pond in the US, The campaigning is thorough ahead of the mid term elections on Tuesday.Let's see how that goes.
