Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain, so give it up for him and other furry friends 😻. As for me I have had a great day stepping it out and just about now I wanna fill you in on how it went and also share some of the trending stories. Thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the mall for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube. I noticed some interesting soccer ⚽ matches going on. The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. The president calling for collection of taxes from all areas possible🙀.
Globally, south Korea trending, as 146 people were killed in a crowd stampede at a halloween outdoor march 😭. My sincere condolences to all the bereaved families, nowadays it's risky being in these crowded areas.
Elsewhere in Ukraine, Russia said it will suspend the grain export agreement that was brokered by the UN and Turkiye 🙀. This after it accused Ukraine of bombing some of its ships in the black sea. The UN warned this move will trigger a shortage of grains to areas in Asia and Africa relying on the same.
Trending in Africa, south Africa has held a coronation ceremony for the Zulu king Misizulu. It was attended by the president alongside thousands of people.I guess it's long live the king👑👋.
In Iran the head of the revolutionary guards has warned protesters not to try it tomorrow 😹, urging that Saturday be the last day. People have been protesting unrelentingly for 6 weeks now🙀.
Finally, in crazy weather, tropical storm named Nalgae made landfall in the Philippines causing flash floods and landslides🙀.
