Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. As always thank you for stopping by. The day is fading away fast and am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Here we go again 💨.
I did begin with a shorter version of the fast paced session. Brisk walked 👣 and jogged around the neighborhood for a few rounds then I was back indoors. After a bit of rest, I logged into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, another quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. The covid positivity rate less than 1%👏.
Globally, of course Ukraine trending.Also trending, French soldiers leave Mali after 9 years. Mali has been taken over by the military and they hired Russian mercenaries after falling out with France 😱. Elsewhere in Europe, the EU is hosting over 40 African heads of state in Brussels, discussing a myriad of issues including covid, climate change, economic stuff etc. China has been slowly/ cleverly taking over in Africa 😹.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin started the day at 43k, now I see it's down to 40k😹. Better hodl and be buying the dip 💯. Once it's at 70, it won't matter if you bought in at 42, 41. Bitcoin also seems to pull back when there's a full moon 🌝 and spike at the new moon.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre 🌲 for a couple of errands. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap 💤.
It was great and I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, Russia have expelled a US diplomat in a tit for tat move after US did the same earlier😹. Over in Ireland, schools in some areas closed as they wait for a severe storm ⚡☔ named Eunice. People advised to stay indoors for the duration of the storm.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. It was amazing, enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
