Happy Monday 🎉, merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy Holidays 🎈🎆 to you all. We are onto a new week and hopefully you are having a great day this far. Mine has been ok and as the day draws to a close, am raring to go with some of the day's trending news and my stepping activities. Let's get cracking 💨.
Finally, this morning I got a chance for the fast paced morning session. After two days of raining, today was clear but a little cloudy. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the windy neighborhood as I always do☺️.
At around eleven, I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going and so did the plannedemic vaccinations.
Globally, lots happening. In Ethiopia, the stubborn rebels are finally retreating after months of giving the govt sleepless nights 👏.
Elsewhere, in Europe the omicron covid situation persists 😵.
Meanwhile in Chile, the youngest president was elected, 35 year old leftist former student leader 🙌. Only time will tell what he can achieve but definitely a tough job awaits.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still stuck at 46k, I checked some time earlier in the day and it was at 45k😹.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Most analysts urging people to buy the dip and hodl 💯.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then made it back home 🏡 for the usual nap 💤.
I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news 😊.
Trending in the US, a jury in minneapolis is sitting to decide the fate a police woman who shot dead a 20 year old, confusing a gun for a taser😱. Elsewhere, crazy weather in Malaysia that led to widespread flooding, causing damages and evacuations 😬.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. A nice slow paced walk enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
I finally made it back home 🏡 safe and sound calling it a day 🙌.
