A warm welcome from Bob and yours truly ๐น, it's finally Caturday ๐๐. Merry Christmas ๐ and Happy Holidays ๐๐ as we delve into the festive season too. Thanks for being here and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been plus some of the trending news that caught my eye ๐, ๐จ.
Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance for an early start as that pesky drizzling โ was on. So I woke up to some stretching and light yoga. Then I was online checking out the trending news.
Locally, a rather quiet day but as usual the usual political shenanigans ๐น kept going.
Globally, lots happening.in Barcelona protests against covid passports and more protests across Germany, against similar measures to curb covid surge. Elsewhere, the Netherlands is going into strict lockdown starting Sunday ๐ฑ. And London's mayor has announced a 'major incident' as covid numbers spike ๐ฌ.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still hanging around 46k, still no analyst can predict it's short term movement ๐น, just hodl what you have and buy the dip if you can.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and then later in the afternoon when my eyes ๐ got tired, I headed for the mall.
I walked ๐ฃ around for a while before having the usual bowling ๐ณ session.
After that, I headed back home ๐ก and got the cooking going. Meanwhile I watched some of the earlier videos and also news.
Major clean ups going on in the philippines after that powerful typhoon and also in Erbil, Iraq after the serious flooding. Elsewhere in Chile a tight run off is expected in the presidential election ๐ต.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea โ and then stepped out for the sunset ๐โ๏ธ๐
walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze ๐.
I finally made it back home ๐ก safe and sound as darkness fell โบ๏ธ.
