Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. It's the last Sunday of August and the stepping continued unabated. It's been a wonderful active day and am here to share how it went and also some of the trending news. As always thank you for being here and let's get going 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off early with the fast paced morning session. Am loving the warmer morning breeze 🍃 and today was no different.
Come ten o'clock, I was back indoors where I showered 🚿 and rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day. Locally, the same political shenanigans 😹, otherwise mostly a quiet Sunday.
Globally, Afghanistan still trending. Today a US drone killed suicide bombers that were targeting Kabul airport. Their car 🚗 was full explosives that would have killed lots of innocent people, glad they were intercepted👏. Elsewhere in the US, president Biden recieved the bodies of the marines killed last week at Kabul airport, most of them in their early twenties; what a pity and my sincere condolensences to the affected families.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still consolidating at around 48k most of the day. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day including laundry.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the park 🌲 and then the shopping center for some cooking groceries.
I made it back home 🏡 for the usual nap 💤. I got up some time early evening feeling well rested and energetic ☺️.
I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news. French president continued his tour of Iraq, stopping by in Erbil. Meanwhile hurricane Ida touched down in Louisiana with strong winds.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. A nice sunny sunset and I enjoyed the cool evening breeze 🌞. I later made it back home 🏡 safe and sound as darkness fell.
