Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. Hopefully your week is off to a great start. Mine has been wonderful and it's now time to get ready for Tuesday.
Thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how Monday turned out 💨.
Just like yesterday I kicked off early with the fast paced brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood. As always I enjoyed the fresh morning breeze 🍃 as I went along.
Come ten o'clock, the automaticwin was done and I was back indoors where I showered 🚿 and rested for a while. Then I logged into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 revolving around the upcoming referendum 😱..
Globally, EU leaders have vowed to impose maximum sanctions on the Belarus dictator for yesterday's flight ✈️ diversion. Over in Minneapolis some protests on the eve of the murder last year of George Floyd 😬.
Meanwhile, in crypto land, bitcoin is subtly moving upwards and is now approaching 40k. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the mall for a few groceries. I came back and into the usual nap 💤. I woke up some time early evening feeling great 💪.
I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also the news.
In Kenya we have our first female chief justice who was sworn in today and took over as head of the judiciary 🎉👏. I hadn't realized we have never had a lady in that role.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. I followed the usual route and finished off around the neighborhood late tonight.
