Basant Panchami also called Vasant Panchami, mostly celebrated by Hindus all over the world.On this auspicious day, Saraswati Maa, the goddess of art and wisdom, is worshipped.Vasant and Kamadeva are also honored on this day.
As Vasant Panchami also means a new starting of everything whether it is a life or a single tree. Everyone has a bad time in his/ her life but the good is not too late to come.
The tree who sheds their old leaves just because for the new ones to grow up. Similarly we should let out our negative thoughts for the new positive ones.
Goddess Saraswati Maa is a great significance of education, every student like me should worship her. Her favourite colour is Yellow as the colour symbolises knowledge and also denotes mustard fields that are associated with the arrival of spring season hence, yellow flowers and sweets are offered to the goddess as a part of the puja rituals.
Her favourite instrument was Veena which signifises the arts, serves as a reminder to tune one's heart and mind to live in harmony with others and the world. And also a white lotus which represents purity and knowledge.
