So I was reading this article: Smart Home Healthcare Market to Hit $30 Billion by 2023 and all I can think about is blockchain and opportunity!
Not that I'm smart enough to come up with an idea... But if you had a non-invasive diagnostic tool that you could pair with a phone app.....
The article talks about fall monitoring, health monitoring, nutrition/diet monitoring, safety and security amongst others.
Here's some ideas I get from that....
Infrared sensors on your bathroom mirror that can predict when you're getting sick and need to take a rest.
face recognition inbuilt to the mirror to monitor mental health status. The feed is fed to an app on your phone that you can show your GP.
blood pressure monitors in your bed mattress
smart fridges and panties monitoring daily calorie consumption feeding the data to your my fitness pal account
treadmills built into lounge room floors that encourage you to walk whilst watching TV. The data is synced with your smart watch that's counting your steps.
It's fun for me to think of these ideas, and perhaps they're not all that outrageous. Anyone out there want to help me develop them? :-) What ideas do you have for the smart home of the future?
