As a kid, I was always fascinated by thunderstorms. As soon as I heard the rumble I was running to the window to watch it.
Nowadays, I can get grumpy when people disturb me while I'm sleeping. It's only allowed to wake me up for a thunderstorm and chocolate 馃槃
In my home country Belgium , we don't have much thunderstorms but here in the Philippines, every week we have them. You can tell by the barking dogs that a thunderstorm is approaching. So then I head out outside, sit on my balcony and watch the force of nature.
Still on my wishlist is a picture of several lightnings in one place. I haven't had the chance to achieve that. One time I was very close ... in the right spot ... took out al my gear, and then there was a problem with the tripod. When I finally solved that problem the storm was over. But one day I will make that picture for sure!
