Field of study

Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of electrical engineering and computer science required to develop computer system. Computer engineers usually have training in electronic engineering (or electrical engineering), software design and hardware -software integration instead of only engineering or electronic engineering. Computers engineers are involved in many hardware and software aspect of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers and super computers to circuit design. This field of engineering not only focuses on how computer themselves works but also how they integrate into the larger picture.

My Motivation...

1.An avenue of being an expert in electronics either in terms of cloning, troubleshooting or lecturing.

1. Opportunity for more advance learning (practical) on how to build a system. The board, chips, power components and so on (Hardware).

2. Innovative skills in writing powerful programs, designing parts and building webs.

3. A chance of working with Microsoft company either online or live.

4. It is a kind of unending world of innovations due to rapid development of modern technology which often relate to IT world/scope.

5. The inter relation ( information technology) it has with other field of studies like electrical engineering, medical science, social science and even Arts :

** Electrical Engineering = electronics **

** Medical science= diagnosis **

** Social science = calculation and evaluation **

** Arts= production and editing (drama) **

All these are just the tip of iceberg compared to its versatility in the job market. However know your limitation interest forces before dabbling into it.

As a computer engineer, you are there to make a name and be a problem solver not really money...
