Hi everyone! My name is Osman Adam Addoma, and I am thrilled to finally join the decentralized world of Hive. I come from a background of heavy-duty engineering and industrial power systems, and I’m here to share my journey, technical insights, and passion for the digital economy. Who am I? I am a professional Electrical and Power Systems Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the field. My daily life involves the "heartbeat" of industrial sites—diesel generators. I specialize in the maintenance, repair, and synchronization of Perkins and Cummins units, specifically working with Deep Sea (DSE) and Woodward control modules. Currently, I am also a student pursuing a Mechanical Maintenance Engineering diploma at the Sudan University of Science and Technology. I believe that learning never stops, regardless of age or experience. What I do at "Addoma Trading Services" Through my business, I provide technical consultancy and engineering services. One of my proudest recent projects was designing a comprehensive Power Factor Correction (PFC) system for a large-scale mining operation, helping optimize energy consumption for dozens of industrial motors. Why Hive? I’ve always been fascinated by how we can link Heavy Engineering with the Digital Economy. Whether it’s Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, or AI-driven automation, I believe the future of industrial maintenance lies in decentralized and smart solutions. On this platform, I plan to share: Technical Guides: Field-tested checklists for generator synchronization and electrical faults. Engineering Life: My journey as a student and a professional balancing work and education. Crypto & Tech: My perspective on how Web3 can empower engineers and entrepreneurs in developing regions. Let’s Connect! I am eager to engage with the #STEM, #Engineering, and #Sudan communities here. If you are interested in power systems, industrial tech, or just want to say hi, I’d love to hear from you in the comments! Thank you for having me, and a special thanks to those who helped me navigate my first steps here. Eng.
