Today I will discuss how to handle battle in the Wands Out ruleset (only units with magic attacks can be used) especially in low mana battles when Earth element can't be used
Note:
I'd play using my scholar account bltzr-wizard-710, usually in Diamond League, sometimes in Champion league if I can reach it, my card is not powerful I only have Chaos Legion, Reward Card, and11 old cards I rent like, Doctor Blight, Ash Mirage, Dumacke Exile, etc. This strategy may only work for enemies with limited cards.
Actually not really strategy but the best summoner to use is in the Earth element the "Immortalist" :
By using this summoner all magic attack damage will be cut by half (rounded up), except attack 1 which deals 0 damage, and the mana cost is 6.
If we can't use the Earth element then we have 2 choices:
In this Battle Example although have middle mana cost it have a Little League ruleset (only can use unit and summoner which that cost 4 or less mana cost), so it's still like fighting in the low mana battle.
In this battle, we can see The Redemption ability plays an important role here because the health of each unit has been reduced by the respective summoner by 1, and Doctor Blight also reduces the health of each unit by reducing 2 health and only the unit with the small mana that can be carried, it causes Redemption to easily kill many enemies at once. Scavenger and Life Leech also help to survive, especially Scavenger because many units die so the additional health from Doctor Blight is good enough. Stun and Poison abilities also help.
I think Death will be best to use at the battle at 20 or below mana cost Focus on the use of the Poison unit first and if have mana left we can use another unit above.
In the low mana battle, I think it can defeat Immortalist who already costs 6 mana for the summoner.
The only concern is Dragon combined with Water element this 2 unit combo is OP :
Anasth Sootsaver can heal the Void Dragon and Cleanse the negative status including poison from it. The good news is in Diamond League not many players bring Anasth yet. Because the Anasth is expensive to buy and rent.
Thank you, my friend, for taking the time to review my battle report. I appreciate your efforts and would be grateful if you could provide me with feedback on any mistakes you find by leaving a comment.
