Hi, I’m rara. Today, I prepared a party using a Donkatsu meal kit. We rented a cozy, private room and worked hard together with my CEO and Director to cook and decorate the table. I was really satisfied with how it turned out! Even though it might not be perfect, I’d like to share the story of our fun Donkatsu party. The golden-brown Donkatsu was incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I served it with a fresh salad, warm rice, and soup to make it a complete and satisfying meal. Eating delicious food with the people I work with was truly the best way to relieve stress. Even while on a diet, I believe having a happy meal like this once in a while gives me the energy to stay consistent with my healthy lifestyle. 오늘은 돈까스 밀키트로 파티를 준비했어요. 분위기 있는 룸을 빌려서 저희 대표님과 이사님과 함께 열심히 요리를 하고 데코를 했는데요. 결과가 정말 만족스러웠습니다! 조금은 부족할지 몰라도 재미있게 준비했던 돈까스 파티 이야기 한번 해볼게요.

노릇노릇한 돈까스는 겉은 정말 바삭하고 속은 촉촉했어요. 신선한 샐러드와 따뜻한 밥, 그리고 국까지 곁들이니 정말 든든하고 완벽한 한 끼가 되었습니다. 함께 일하는 분들과 맛있는 음식을 먹는 게 정말 최고의 스트레스 해소법인 것 같아요.

다이어트 중이지만, 가끔은 이렇게 행복하게 먹는 시간 덕분에 다시 건강한 일상을 유지할 수 있는 에너지를 얻는 것 같습니다. 여러분도 오늘 저처럼 맛있고 행복한 하루 보내시길 바랄게요!

이사님은 돈까스를 구워 주셨고 저는 샐러드와 계란후라이를 만들었으며, 대표님은 데코를 준비해주셨어요. 저희 정말 손발이 척척 잘 맞았어요!

This is the Donkatsu meal kit. We prepared a wide variety of types, including basic Donkatsu, Cheese Donkatsu, Sweet Potato Roll Katsu, and even Hamburg Steak. >

이것이 바로 돈까스 밀키트에요. 기본 돈까스, 치즈돈까스, 고구마롤까스, 함박스테이크까지 종류도 다양하게 준비를 했어요.

This is the basic Donkatsu. The meat is very thick, and it’s so delicious because it stays crispy even after cooking. >

기본 돈까스입니다. 고기도 두툼하고 조리했을 때도 바삭해서 너무 맛있어요.

This is the Triple Cheese Sweet Potato Roll Katsu. Unlike the basic Donkatsu, it comes with two rolls, and they are packed with sweet potato mousse inside. >

트리플치즈 고구마 롤 돈까스에요. 기본 돈까스와 다르게 롤이 두 개가 들어있고, 롤 안에는 고구마무스가 가득 들어있어요.

This is the Hamburg Steak. It was incredibly juicy, and I really enjoyed a different kind of charm compared to the Donkatsu. >

이것은 함박스테이크입니다. 함박스테이크는 육즙이 정말 엄청나게 나오더라고요. 돈까스와는 또 다른 맛의 매력을 느꼈어요.

This is the basic Donkatsu. The taste is so amazing that it's hard to believe it came from a meal kit. The juiciness of the meat, the crispiness of the breading, and more importantly, the flavor of the sauce go together perfectly! ^^ >

기본 돈까스입니다. 맛을 보면 밀키트라는 것이 정말 놀라울 정도입니다. 돈까스 고기의 육즙과 튀김의 바삭함, 그리고 더 중요한 건 소스의 맛이 정말 잘 어울리더라고요^^

This is the Hamburg Steak. It comes with two pieces, so the portion is quite generous. It's very appealing because it's even juicier than the Donkatsu. >

함박스테이크예요. 두 덩어리가 들어있어서 양도 많고, 돈까스보다 함박스테이크의 육즙이 더 많아서 매력적입니다.

Actually, I had so much fun shopping for groceries and buying pretty plates just for this party. I felt so grateful to be able to share the food we made together. Also, for those who couldn't join us, I prepared and sent them the meal kits so they could enjoy the taste of the Donkatsu too. >

사실은 이번 파티를 위해서 예쁜 그릇도 사고 장도 보면서 너무 즐거웠어요. 이렇게 만든 음식을 함께 나눠 먹을 수 있다는 것이 감사하더라고요. 그리고 또 함께 동참하지 못한 분들에게는 밀키트를 전달해서 돈까스를 맛볼 수 있게 챙겨드렸어요.

Isn't the atmosphere of the party room great? I absolutely loved the white table, the vase, and even the books!! But there's a little secret. While we were renting the room and preparing the food, everything was being recorded by CCTV, haha. We knew it was there, but thinking about our clumsy cooking being caught on camera makes me feel a bit shy! >

파티룸 분위기도 좋지 않나요? 화이트톤의 식탁과 화병, 책 모두 마음에 들었어요!! 그런데 여기에 비밀이 있어요. 저희가 파티룸을 빌려서 요리를 준비하고 했는데, 그런 모습까지 CCTV로 다 찍히고 있었더라고요. ㅎㅎ 알고는 있었지만 저희가 막 서투른 요리를 한 것이 찍혔다고 생각하니까 부끄럽기도 하더라고요.

First, our CEO and Director tasted the food and said it was delicious. The Cheese Donkatsu had cooled down a bit, so the cheese had hardened, which was a little disappointing. However, they really loved the Hamburg Steak, saying the juiciness was incredible. >

먼저 저희 회사 이사님과 대표님이 맛을 보셨는데 맛있다고 하셨고, 치즈돈까스는 조금 식어서 치즈가 굳었더라고요. 그래서 약간 아쉽다는 평이 있었어요. 그리고 함박스테이크는 육즙이 장난 아니라고 좋아하시더라고요.

Of course, it would be great to prepare the meat from scratch—tenderizing it, coating it in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, frying it, and making the sauce. However, I think it's wonderful that we can make such delicious food so simply and conveniently using a meal kit. I'm planning to make this again at home when I invite friends over in the future. >

물론 직접 고기를 준비해서 두드리고 밀가루 입히고 계란 입히고 튀김가루 입히고 튀기고 소스도 직접 만들면 좋겠지만, 이렇게 밀키트를 활용해서도 맛있는 음식을 만들 수 있다는 것이 정말 간단하고 편해서 좋은 것 같아요. 앞으로 집으로 지인들을 초대할 때도 한 번 더 만들어 볼 생각이에요.

I sent the meal kits as gifts to those who couldn't join us so they could try them at home. They sent back these wonderful photos of their meals! There are so many convenient meal kits in Korea, and the biggest advantage is that they taste just as good as eating at a restaurant. My freezer is already full of various meal kits like pizza, pork backbone stew (Gamja-tang), and Donkatsu. If I get the chance, I'll share more stories about other meal kits next time. > 함께하지 못한 분들에게 밀키트를 배달해서 가정에서 먹어보라고 선물로 보냈어요. 그리고 이렇게 맛있는 사진을 찍어서 보내주셨습니다. 정말 한국에는 간단하게 먹을 수 있는 밀키트가 많이 있는데, 직접 가게에 가서 먹는 것처럼 맛있게 먹을 수 있다는 게 큰 장점인 것 같아요. 제 집에는 피자, 감자탕, 돈까스 등의 엄청난 밀키트가 가득 들어있어요. 다음에 기회가 된다면 또 다른 밀키트도 올려보도록 할게요.
