Hello hello dear friends happy start of the week for everyone in this nice community of needlework today I want to show you this beautiful bow that is very easy to make.
For some time I've wanted to make this bow as I find it very nice effect that gives a ponytail or bun, but I had not taken the time, so today I looked for my scraps of fabric and I got down to work and not give more long. I am a beginner in sewing and almost everything I do I sew by hand, sometimes it gives me more confidence in what I do and especially in small things like this, when I want to create something I always try to do my best even if I don't have much knowledge.
For this bow I used the following materials:
- Piece of purple lycra fabric.
- black garter
- my scissors
- measuring ruler
- black thread or whatever color is needed
Hola hola queridos amigos feliz inicio de semana para todos en esta linda comunidad de needlework hoy quiero mostrarles este hermoso moño que es muy fácil de realizar.
Desde hace algún tiempo que quiero hacer este moño ya que me parece muy lindo el efecto que da a una cola de caballo o rodete, pero no me había tomado el tiempo, así que hoy busqué mis retazos de tela y me puse manos a la obra y no darle más largas. Soy principiante en la costura y casi todo lo que hago lo coso a mano, a veces me da más seguridad en lo que hago y sobretodo en cosas pequeñas como está, cuando quiero crear algo siempre intento hacerlo lo mejor posible aunque no tenga muchos conocimientos.
Para este moño utilice los siguientes materiales:
- Retazo de tela de licra color morado
- liga negra
- mis tijeras
- regla para medir
- hilo negro o del color que sea necesario
I started by cutting the fabric according to the pattern I made for this bow, which are only three pieces, the rectangular strip for the bow and the two leaf-shaped pieces that are attached to the bow.
Comencé por cortar la tela de acuerdo al patrón que hice para este moño, las cuales son solo tres piezas, la franja rectangular para el moño y las dos piezas en forma de hoja que van unidas al moño.
For the bow part I sewed this piece folded in half on the back and then turned the piece right side out so that the seam was facing inwards. Then pass the black garter with a little clip inside the fringe and then sew the ends of the garter very well so that it does not come loose with the pressure when you take the hair, then I sewed the ends of the fringe to close the bow, leaving a small opening to introduce the two leaf-shaped parts that go with the bow.
Para la parte del moño cosi está pieza doblada por la mitad al reverso y luego voltee la pieza por el lado derecho de manera que la costura quedo hacia adentro. Luego pase la liga negra con un ganchito por dentro de la franja y después cosi las puntas de la liga muy bien para que no se suelte con la presión al tomar el cabello, luego coci los extremos de la franja para cerrar el moño, dejando una pequeña abertura para introducir las dos partes en forma de hoja que van con el moño.
When the bow is finished, I sew the two parts that are attached to it, which, like the bow, are sewn together folded in half on the back side of the fabric and then turned right side out.
Al terminar el moño coci las dos partes que van unidas a el, las cuales al igual que el moño, se cosen cada una dobladas por la mitad por el reverso de la tela para luego voltearlas al derecho.
After finishing these two pieces, I finally joined them together with the bow through the small opening that I had left previously, making invisible stitches since I don't like loose threads to be seen. This is how this bun finally turned out, I really liked it because it can be used in different ways according to each person's taste, I used it in a ponytail and I thought it looked very cute, also for little girls it is very cute and they look very tender, it gives a very special touch to the ponytail or the buns.
Al terminar estás dos piezas, las uni finalmente junto con el moño por la pequeña abertura que había dejado anteriormente haciendo puntos invisibles ya que no me gusta que se vea hilos sueltos. Así fue como finalmente quedó este moño, a mí me gustó mucho ya que se puede usar de varias formas según el gusto de cada persona, yo lo usé en una cola de caballo y me pareció que se ve muy tierno, tambien para niñas es muy lindo y se ven muy tiernas le da un toque muy especial a la cola de caballo o a los rodetes.
You can also make the strips a few centimeters longer to make bows with the bow.

También se pueden hacer las tiras unos centímetros más largas para hacer lazos con el moño.
