Drawn this morning straight to ink.
I wanted to iterate a little on yesterday's swamp knight design, and also introduce you all to ghosts, which are a big part of "Fading".
In the Great Black Swamp, ghosts are a fact of life. When somebody dies, their body pales and their flesh becomes doughy and elastic. Small tendrils sprout from the skin and wriggle about lazily. The body continues to move about and show some form of intelligence, but the commonly accepted thinking is that the soul of the deceased is no longer within. This resulting blank entity is known as a ghost.
More on ghosts later.
