Well, obviously, I highlight it from other side, why someone should get involved in it, when they see the DHF, the free money printed from thin air - and you can argue, but in practice, it is, and no doubt other things cause inflation, too -, just used for pretty nonsense things.

1., rally car ( i don't know how much it cost, but i suppose, over $100k a year)
2., yes, hivefest, read about these events, even asked organizers, they said, it's no1 purpose maintain core community members - so calling it holiday, not far from reality, even if technical stuff shared there, too - what can be done online for free, little portion of cost, especially in hard times
3., the movie, what i suppose again cost way over $100k, and it's not public 🤣, so what the hell purpose it serves? (lordbutterfly wrote, he doesnt even want to show it on that hivefest again...🤣) some top-secret cia movie category about area-51...

as DHF approval rate is around 20% of total active HP, yes, it can be accepted by very few people. that's fact. so it's not by wilder community, network, only very few people.

correct me, put usually DHF financing go for ads, marketing (real ones), especially in this special case, or financing technical developments, project buildings (what about i haven't said a word, as i don't know enough that part)

so the mentioned part of DHF fundings atm going for maintanance, keep projects alive, and for nonsense nothing from valueplan.

so definitely not the network allows (only very few people), they take money, without result, nothing happens, it's just going on like this since years, and they don't bother making REAL reports about what for they spend and how much. (and i know, the Hive spike was only because of SPL, and general crypto hype, not because the job what the dhf financed people did)

anyway, i didnt say anything specifically about inflation, other chains have much higher, and still do much better.

that's why i tried to highlight other things.

when it suits you, you go and compare it to a corporation, too, how much more money they waste, but when it doesn't, you say it is not a business.

it's pretty much a business, where shareholders are in control. not buddies like here, who just can't get rid of those, who doesn't do their job... but show me a business what can be controlled by 20% of shareholding (actually even lot less, just based on active total HP)

just look at the wonderful SPL proposal...🤣 Matt finished with the 'supporting hivefest' - calling buddies to upvote - meantime, it has nothing to do with any real, serious proposal.

no matter how you call it, business, decentralized something, these examples perfectly shows how it works in practice. and yes, it's in startup phase, so money shouldnt be wasted, but spend for growth and Hive need a serious project manager, who spends at least the valueplan money reasonably.

anyway, not important, i don't mind much anymore if the DHF controllers put their head in the sand - and money in their, each others pocket.

i won't buy back a single Hive, until serious changes come, just simply put my money in different projects.
