Story Time!

The other day I saw that the total staked SPS was already beyond the total liquid SPS. This made me realize that the demand for SPS was already getting even higher. Based on my analysis, breaking past 0.60 USD won't happen until after the vouchers are airdropped. Apparently I was mistaken. Thankfully, I decided to add more SPS at around 0.60 USD, bumping my average to around 0.32 USD. I thought that was the end of that rally and no more excitement will hit for now, but boy was I wrong! I woke up from my nap to this!

Just to make sure, i hopped onto coingecko and saw this!

Then I still doubted that so I checked poocoin.

Check out that long green wick! This shows it actually reached 0.93 USD. I tried to check the transaction history, but couldn't go to that time. If this isn't a transaction error, then clearly this shows how much SPS is in demand right now. It shows how many people want to get their hands on SPS and just HODL. Given the amount of volume, it is highly likely a krakken has entered the field.

The Future

Scarcity is always the name of the game. There is only a finite amount of SPS tokens and considering the personality of the player base that seems to HODL like no tomorrow, and considering how the developers continuously reward players by HODLing, we can expect liquidity to keep decreasing over time. I won't be surprised if the SPS we use to pay for our Chaos Legion packs will be reintroduced into the system, but obviously by that time it would probably be beyond 1 USD per SPS already. I won't be surprised if SPS by year end will be 1.50 USD.
