I am glad we have Steemit. So we can share natural wonders like this one I have recently experienced.
I photographed this one at Ljubljana, Slovenia, near a river called Ljubljanica. He was posing like a professional, waiting that I take pictures and then he flew away.
The secret of his golden look is probably in his wings. If you look closer you can see that golden are only his wings. Under it he is a classic grey pigeon.
Funny how nature can surprise us with things worth pure gold.
