How BlockMiner is using PoW to reduce rug pulls and scams in the memecoin space?

BlockMiner.Fun has successfully launched a Bitcoin memecoin (Runes) launchpad on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) that uses the Principles that made Bitcoin the standard of trusted digital currency and community building: Proof-of-work.

Launched on 06 February 2025, BlockMiner.fun brings Bitcoin’s tokenomics to Bitcoin’s tokens, so that they can benefit from proof-of-work mining.

Mining rigs perform SHA-256 hashing in a race to mine each block, just like Bitcoin. Each mining rig is a smart contract on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP).
