Hive community joins Bitcoin community to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day

On May 22, 2010, a user called Laszlo agreed to pay 10,000 Bitcoins for two delivered Papa John's pizzas. It's now know as #BitcoinPizzaDay in the Bitcoin and Crypto Communities.

Bitcoin Pizza Day is a time to get together with friends and family to remember the day that marked the first time bitcoin had a market value.

This year, the Hive community also joined the celebration by offering Hivers to pay for their Pizza with $Hive or $HBD using Lightning Network on V4V App
