As you might have guessed, I've received a few downvotes. Well, by a few I mean 52 flags from 24 accounts.
I'm tagging those accounts in hopes that they consider removing the flag, or even better, comment here to share your thoughts and even defend the flag. I understand the reactionary response to my work and I presume most of these were cast in that light, but I hope that today these accounts may take a minute to learn more about me and how I'm fighting to reduce the impact on bandwidth to protect the blockchain and then consider the clear support I've received from the community so quickly.
I do not hold firmly to my positions and am ready to continually challenge and reevaluate them so I welcome the feedback of my critics not only for my own self-reflection but to open the dialog to the community to consider your points as well.
And to be absolutely clear, I do not advocate for retaliation on these accounts. If you want to respond, you could upvote that first post in the list back to visibility, since the downvoter was not the author of the original post.
I'm really interested to open this dialog now because I'm sure I'll see even more retaliation once I start handing out my own downvotes.
