Nice to see your account growing @springworth! I just hit the three year mark, and there is still a lot that confuses me. @nickyhavey is usually the one that sets me straight, especially from the rewards side of things as I'm still a bit happily clueless on a lot.

As far as Discord, as Fiona said, it is a communication app that I believe did start out more in the gaming realm for people to connect with each other. Since Hive doesn't have any private messaging, it can be a great way for people to chat if they want to do so offchain. A lot of the communities have discord rooms where they can share initiatives before they go live, brainstorm or just foster the sense of togetherness. Not everyone is a fan, but until PeakD or one of the other hosting sites develops messaging then it is nice if you want that additional place to connect.

Twitter has also become a great place for people on Hive to find each other and promote their posts to a wider audience. I use it to promote my blogs and also promote my personal training/nutrition business, so it is not solely just for Hive on my end. But there is definitely a lot of "buzz" going on there. Tuesdays the @hivepeople account has initiated a #hivechat where a different host comes on and asks the community 5 questions over the course of an hour to try to get the word out about Hive and brainstorm ideas for how to make marketing and other aspects better. People like @traciyork through the @hiveblogshare account and so many others are great about sharing content to boost exposure. There are also a number of other initiatives where users may run contests or give tips for good posts shared there. It can be a little overwhelming, but can be fun to dip your toes in and try it out.

Just my two cents on the Discord/Twitter end, but hopefully that helps give at least one perspective. I'm sure some others will happily add on!
