Our C124 Mercedes Benz - Lady Dorothy has been out and about today for her MOT.
Ben and I cannot believe that it's been a year since we got her back on the road after she got new rear sub frame mounts, lots of welding, new shocks, new springs and new lines, discs and pads - you know, the lot!
As we mentioned yesterday, she was booked in for Thursday, but as that would give us only one day on the MOT, we thought it best to take her in today.
As per usual, Dorothy got lots of attention whilst she was out, and I even got chatting to someone who stopped to admire her whilst he was out walking his dog. He'd always wanted a C124, but had never had the chance to buy one.
One thing that made my day was the MOT testing place owner commented on how lovely the wheels looked!
What's more, he asked if we had them done at Top Wheels 😊
Turns out, he gets all his wheels done by Gregg, and instantly recognised his handiwork 👍
So did she pass? Yes, yes she did, and with flying colours (meaning no advisories) not bad for a thirty year old...hurrah! 😊😊
