Where do you stand on modified and customised cars? Should cars remain the way the manufacturer intended, or should the owner be able to do what they like? Or should certain coach builders etc Zagato, Pinin Farina etc only be able to customise?
It's something I see regularly on especially on the Rolls Royce and Bentley groups on Facebook, members literally attack a member for posting a model that's unique e.g. The Sweptail - this car seems to be a bone of contention with purists hating it even though it's manufactured by RR on the Phantom platform. No car is safe especially if it's been bought out e.g. Bentley, RR, JLR and MG to name a few.
It's not just customisation either car companies like MG who are now aimed at China markets, and are built there are under fire, this now apparently sullies MG's name from the past 70 years plus, no it doesn't, they've done what they need to succeed. Things move on you can still appreciate what was.

I for one can appreciate any car, and what an owner has done, it may not be my cup of tea, but that's ok.
