It was a normal day for me with lots of joy. I woke up as early as 5 am to kickstart my day. I washed the dishes and also prepared a warm water bath for my nephews. I went ahead to wake them up, it was frustrating getting them to move to the bathroom. They love their early morning sleep. I got them ready and prepared their breakfast, the usual bread and tea.
My little niece was hanging around his brothers for them to feed her, I usually give a small portion whenever I prepare her brothers breakfast but yesterday I wanted to do some chores while they were eating. She was crying and pleading with her eyes and hands that she wanted some tea and bread.
Despite my initial decision, I gave in and fed her and then took my nephews to school. After returning from the school run, there wasn't much left to do. I did some washing of clothes immediately I came back. It took me hours because I was tending to my niece and washing, and I was home alone. I tried every means to make her sleep so I can be fast but trust kids they will outsmart you.
After washing clothes, I took my bath and then logged into eccency to comment and just see what was happening. I tried making a video for Afri tune but my little niece was distracting me, so I decided to let it go some other time. I will have to tell my mom to take her along to the shop so I can make a video in peace.
Noon arrived, I made dishes for the family and went to pick up my nephew. The disturbance then tripled, but I am so used to it now. Then came the main highlight of the day. I decided that I was going to remove my crochet hair, I have been postponing it because I don't know how to loosen it. While I was making my hair, my hairstylist made a joke asking me how I was going to remove the crochet. She sounded so unsure, and that's when I knew it was going to be a long run.
By 4 pm, I mustered the courage to begin loosening my crochet hair. My mom was back from work, and I pleaded with her to help me out. In the process, she gave up and told me that the hair was so difficult and her chest was hurting her, so I decided to carry my cross myself. It dawned on me that I was all alone. She insisted I take it to the saloon to remove it but I am always afraid of someone trimming my hair mistakenly so I decided to finish it up myself.
I started and I stood in front of the mirror throughout, it was so difficult. I was on the verge of crying. My mom comes around and tells me sorry that it's big work I have given myself, adding more to my pain 馃槃馃槃. It got to a point I decided to rest a little and then continue later in the night. After successfully removing some parts my hair color was not looking good.
I dyed my blonde hair black early this year, and I was warned several times not to by my parents, friends, and hairstylist. Truth is, I have always wanted to try out different colors on my hair. My mom saw my hair yesterday and started laughing at me, saying I have three different colors of hair strands. My dad saw it and asked me what did I pour on my hair 馃槬馃槬, my younger brother started being dramatic and weeping for me.
It wasn't sitting well with me, I was contemplating If I should cut it or I should let the color fade out naturally. It was night already and I chatted with my best friend, she video called me just to make fun of my hair. We talked a lot and I was happy to speak to her. It's been a long we had a proper conversation. My battery was low after the call, and It was late so I went to bed. That's all about my yesterday being Monday.
