I remember the day we got a gift from God, the new member of the family, a beautiful puppy and my sister named her Lucero, because for the family she was a star that filled the house with more light and the first few days it was hard for the dog to adapt to the new family, But with the love that we had to give her, she adapted and she eats just like us, she eats 3 times a day, sometimes she eats more than 3 times, when it is 12 noon she already knows that it is time to eat and she sits waiting for the food to be ready to be served and she together with us who are also hungry, we eat together.
Many times she has surprised me, one of the times that surprised me was once I could see her eating lying down and not because she is sick, I think it is because she is too lazy to eat standing up, my niece was the first one to see her and she told us all what she could see and many of us did not believe her, since we have never seen her with that behavior and I do not know if other dogs do the same as her, but when I could see her with that behavior, besides it made me laugh a little bit and I told my niece that she was very surprised, I don't know if other dogs do the same as her, but when I saw her with this behavior, besides being surprised, it made me laugh a little and I even told the dog to get up to eat, you can imagine the scene and I think you can even laugh at it.
During holy week when I stay alone because I don't want to go to the river house with my family I have to stay with the dog and prepare food for me and for her, while I am in the kitchen preparing food the dog (lucero) sits down to keep me company and once everything is ready, I serve her and she starts to eat and after serving me I sit down to eat.
In the month of December when we were preparing the Christmas dinner she would stand next to us as if she wanted to help us prepare everything at dinner time when the whole family sat down at the table she would start eating at the same time as us and in many occasions she would be the topic of conversation.
My family loves her very much, the truth is that she has won the hearts of the whole family and not only those who live in the house, also my uncles, aunts, cousins and cousins, she has managed to win everyone and my friendships too, she has a very beautiful coat, she is white with brown spots and a black spot in one of the eyes, she is beautiful and whoever observes her falls in love with my dog.
It is a blessing that she has arrived to my family's life, she does not do her needs in sight of anyone, in the house we have a terrace and she goes upstairs to do her needs without us seeing her. And tell me when someone from the family arrives from the street, she is the first one to greet them and runs to tell them if any member of the family arrives.
The truth is that we love her tremendously, she is a heart stealer, tell me when we bathe her, she stays still until we finish bathing her and my sister even sprays perfume on her, if you could see her she looks like a girl happy to be bathed and perfumed, on many occasions she makes me smile and makes my day when I am a little sick, she is our greatest treasure and all the members of the family can tell you that and also our friends can confirm it without any doubt.
