Here in my hometown (Nevada USA), we used to have tons of festivals downtown a lot. It seemed like we always had some type of pub crawl or international event almost every month. Ever since 2020, it has slowed down, but they still have some really cool events like antique car show, Hot August Nights, or Street Vibrations, which is a motorcycle event! The food and music are usually great, but oh, the crowds are crazy!

I am glad you still get to experience some of it when you are traveling. It is nice to learn about other cultures and also appreciate some good "street food" you don't get to enjoy very often. (And believe me, I get it about a sensitive stomach sometimes! 😂 )
