So it begins.

For  several years I've been told "start a blog".  My response has always  been.  "Why".  Well I'll give it a whirl.  A little about me.  I was  born and raised in the midwest.  Specifically the Northern boarder of IL  half way between shitcago and Iowa.  I did the "single girl" thing that  small town girls do.  When I was out of school I moved to the suburbs  of Chicago.  I had my fun.  I worked the "single girl career jobs".  I  worked at a fortune 500 company.  It was boring.  I wasn't built for the  cube rat life.  Then I stumbled upon aviation.  OH the fun of it all.   The I graduated to commercial aviation.  Now that was fun.  I moved to  Milwaukee WI and worked for Midwest airlines.  I had an office with a  view.  My office overlooked the hanger floor and I got to see all the  big pretty planes!  I love it.  I got bored.  Then it was on to  trucking.  OH HOW FUN!  Getting to tell 80+ guys where to go on a daily  basis.  I learned about trucking, I learned about freight.  I learned  all the things one doesn't want to know about trucking and truckers.   THEN IT HAPPENED.  I met "The King".  Well he wasn't "The King" then.   That comes later.  We met in October of 2007.  I was his dispatcher and  he was a truck driver.  From the day we met he started asking me out.  I  said NO every single day of every single week of every single month for  10 months.  I finally figured out he wasn't going to give up so I gave  in.  We did the typical "getting to know you dates".  Dinner here and  there when he was in WI.  Sight seeing when he had weekend layovers in  WI.  Then it was time for a BIG DATE.  WOW!  I flew to Arizona from WI  the 2nd weekend in November.  If you know ANYTHING about winter in WI,  AZ is a MAJOR step up!  So I got on the plane in below freezing weather  in freezing rain.  I got of the plane in the dark and it was 70  degrees.  That alone was AWESOME!!!  Got to his home (2hrs later).  OMG I  was in the middle of the AZ desert and their ain't a dang thing  around.  MAN the stars were bright.  Got up at the butt crack of dawn  the next morning and headed out on the bikes.  We were headed to Mexico  for a weekend of riding and fun.  YEAH riding in November WITHOUT full  leathers.  This was all new to me!  We arrived in Mexico that night.  It  was dark and there was dancing to be done!  After a night of making new  friends and having great fun we headed to our "hotel".  I could hear  swooshing sounds in the night and figured it was just a local highway or  something.  No worries must get to bed and sleep fast.  The next day  was more riding and making new friends.  OH THE FUN OF IT ALL!!!!  Up  bright eyed and bushy tailed the next morning.  What's that smell?   Could it be?  I walked out of the bedroom and OH HELL YEAH it  was....................THE OCEAN only steps away from our FULLY  FURNISHED condo.  Oh man.....what are you going to do for our second  date daddy Worbucks?  What a wonderful time we had that weekend.  We  return to Rocky Point whenever we can.  It's our special place :)  So  the weekend did finally have to come to an end.  What do we do now?  I  live in WI and he in AZ.  It's going to get complicated.  The company we  both worked for went out of business and I had nuttin but time on my  hands.  So what to do next?  What else get in the semi with him and ride  around the country for 3 or 4 months.  What a trip that was!  One thing  led to another and against all of our own rules.  He dropped me off in  WI so I could pack up The Pixie Palace and he'd be back to get me in a  couple of months.  I WAS MOVING TO AZ!!!!  And that my friends is how I  ended up in AZ.
