I forgot I had this photo in my collection. I love listening to thunderstorms, after the first initial rumble. The first ones are usually unexpected. The lightning bolts scare me though, because they are not very predictable. Did you know, there can't be a thunderstorm without lightning? The more flashes of lightning you see, the closer the storm is to you too. I never knew that till reading about it.
We had a nasty storm in Washington, earlier this year and my boss had this photo from it. Hope you all like the picture. I love how it shows the (veins), as I call them. Glad she was safe while catching it.
