Many things we do in life lead to some sort of struggle. Some days you wonder how you will ever survive till the end, where you can just go to bed and sleep off the rest of the day. We manage to pull through most of them, especially when you have someone to confide in, someone to help you stay strong. Whether it be raising a family or going to work, paying bills, and anything else. But, you know what is even harder to do? Being a single parent, whether you are the mother or father, you have to play both roles as mom and dad. There are many times you will run into a situation or have questions asked, by your child/children, where you will not have the answer. It doesn't matter if you have a son or daughter, being a single parent is the hardest thing a person has to do.

I often wonder how the heck I ever made it this far, being a single parent. I am grateful for having such a great kid. Hard as it was, I can't imagine my life without him. He gives me purpose to get through each day. If you are a single parent, try to not let the tough days get to you if possible.
