Hello my Chozzy fans. It seems to be the perfect time to see what our little champ is doing, and if the group is still safe. I sure missed writing about him. Let his and my, new adventure begin.
It had been months since their escape. Chozzy covered up all signs of travel, and they began their journey East. They found a perfect place to start building a camp and new home. There were plenty of trees for cover, and a lake nearby.
They were still cautious with open fires, so only what was needed for cooking was allowed.
Chozzy was showing off his climbing skills to the little children. Alex loved to hear the laughter back in their lives. Charlotte watched as the goofiness ensued. Then she noticed the boy with the middle eye. He was sitting under a tree, all alone. She walked up to him and sat down. Without saying a word, she watched him in wonder. Wondering what was going on in his little head.
Then he slowly turned his head towards her. He asked if they were going to find a way to help him.
"What do you mean," she asked him. "There is nothing else wrong with you. All the tests came back positive, for the chemicals being gone from your body."
"But.. but...my eyesight. I see things that are not there." At that, he turned back to staring at the clear sky above them.
Charlotte wrapped an arm around him, feeling helpless in having answers for what this boy is going through.
