It will be short.
Crossposting. Yup, I tried it.
It's not for everyone.
like heroin.
Whoooah! You may say.
You: You can't say that!
Me: Yes, I can. It'is Steem blockchain, I can write whatever I FUCKING want. I can write "It'is" if I want.
So read me out. Or don't.
MY thoughts. MY!
- Crossposting is ok if used properly.
- Crossposting should not be overused.
- Crossposting should be used to reach people potentially interested. Not to everybody on the fucking Steem blockchain.
- Crossposting should not be used to double your money only.
- Crossposting can double your money.
- Crossposting can bring you downvotes, oh yeah, it can.(If not used properly)
- Crossposted posts can be blocked by moderators of Communities inside Comunities for any reason( and it's actually good)
- Crossposting experience is confusing right now, but it will be polished soon (I hope)
- Crossposted posts look like spam to me right now, but interfaces can present it better, I think. ( on Steampeak it is more obvious than on Steemit the post is crossposted, for example. )
So, Chill...
Crossposting is in its try'and'error phase, right now.
I personally am like:
While trying to crosspost.
It will be a hassle for some time.
I'm still learning about it.
Hell, I'm still learning what are communities about. Steem is growing too fast!
From my perspective: Crossposting is a tool. You must learn how to use it and not hurt yourself and others in the process.
Everybody wants to get more upvotes. Of course. I totally understand that.
The biggest drawback: Spamming - if overused.
The biggest Pro: You can reach people actually wanting to be reached.
Will I use it?
Yes, if I think, it is OK to use it.
Disclaimer: English is not my native lang, but I tried.
