🥇 Mypictureday: Visiting the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens by
I closed my eyes and I imagined what this place was like in 2004 and when I opened them I saw a place worn by time. We spent so many billion to built and renovate the olympic center and today, 16 years later the buildings have been left to their fate and have not been properly utilized at all. 4 years after the Olympics the country fell into a deep economic downturn and the Greeks are still paying for these buildings that were abandoned after the Olympics.

🥈 Trieste is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy! - Trieste è una delle città italiane più belle by
Traveling is one of the most beautiful activities that exist because it is able to enrich the soul and eyes. Today I would like to take you to one of my favorite cities in Italy: Trieste. It is located in Northern Italy and is the capital of the autonomous region of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia.This city has a very particular history, as it is a mix of cultures: Italian, German, Slovenian, Greek, Turkish, Jewish, ...Because of the strategic position on the Adriatic Sea, it is remembered for being a key point in trade between Europe and Asia, for example in the famous "Silk Road".

🥉 People photography: Life in Myanmar (23 photos) by
My travels over the years have brought me to many countries in the South-Asia. One of the last I went to was Myanmar. A country that seems a world apart from the other Asian countries. The legacy of the British still felt very much alive. It was as if the colonial past was still present. At the same time we felt it's a country that is still recovering from the regime that held people from democracy. A beautiful country that is still very traditional in many ways.
