Introduction

Hi everyone it's @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. Today we shall start our Top 3 Pinmapple posts on a road trip in the Yukon state in Canada. Next we go to a nature reserve in the Filipino mountains and finally we go on a hike, up another mountain, but this time in the Czech Republic. Hope you enjoy your travels!

🥇 Alcan Highway Adventure Day 19: If or When I Fall in Love Again by @corvidae

" Another hour on the road finds us in Carmacks, and back in the sun in a more arid climate. There is a river walk in the town. I think about taking an hour to stroll around in the sunshine, but it's a long way to our destination. I get gas and keep driving. A little silver car passes me, and I nod at the driver. Two minutes later I pass her, stopped on the opposite side of the road. I know why, too. The driver looks at me.

"So beautiful," she mouths."

" Loli's kitchen is one of the highlights of our visit. My daughter, being the curious little person that she is, asked Lolo Toto if the owner of the kitchen is named Loli. Apparently, it the term Loli was an endearment of the grandchildren to their Lola Baby, Lolo Toto's wife, who oversees the kitchen operations. The food here is superb, by the way. You can feel the love poured into the preparation of the food."

🥉 The Ohře Valley Hike by @godfish

" After leaving the spa behind, our journey by the river led us through several "cottage colonies." These cottages are a quintessential feature of the Czech Republic, with nearly every family owning one. In the Ohře Valley, many of the "cottagers" are avid fishermen. As we wandered, we noticed numerous benches and chairs at the banks. "
