Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll be presenting today's edition of #TravelDigest. In our featured posts, we have a district in Paris, France, a village in Spain, and the streets of Lyon, France. It's a Europe domination today. Enjoy!
The Sacred Heart Basilica is, in my opinion, the culminating landmark of the Montmartre arrondissement, so it's a great spot to head towards to begin your journey in the neighborhood. We arrived in Paris that day at the "Gare du Nord" train station and then walked over to the church from there. The walk was only 20 minutes and very easy and safe during the day time, so there was no need for a taxi or Uber for us.
Hello everyone! On my way back to my city (Zaragoza) from Amposta (Tarragona), we stopped to see another of what are considered the most beautiful villages in Spain, which is Calaceite, located in Teruel, in the area of the river matarra帽a. It was very hot, but we wanted to take advantage of the journey and stretch our legs. We thought it was a good idea to visit it as it seemed quite small.
When I left, I was very happy not to live there any more and to have the opportunity to discover Paris - which I've been doing for over 15 years now. But little by little, as I came back to Lyon, I came to appreciate more and more those warm-colored facades and, in my mind, this city is the beginning of the South of France, a premise of Provence and even, in a way, an introduction to the atmosphere that can be found in Italy, Spain or Portugal.
