🥇 The Great Buddha In The Temple In Aomori And How It Turned To Be A Memorably Funny Day by
@wittyzellOur first stop was the Seiryu-ji Temple where we would also be seeing the Great Buddha of Aomori. Going to the temple by commute might be a little difficult because of the snow and the traffic. We're not from this city and not so familiar with it so we booked an uber taxi to go there. The 3 of us (my 2 friends and I) were making ourselves fit in the back seat. We didn’t know an adventure would await us that would become a memorably funny memory. Is it the temple? The Buddha? Or something else?

🥈 Chantilly Castle Round Two by
@leaky20I've been to Chantilly Castle many times and have written about it on Hive in the past. It was close to my home in France when we were living there so naturally we went to see it many times during our three year expat. Being so close to us also made it the perfect place to bring visitors that were staying with us, like my sister who came to see us in the summer of 2022.

🥉 🗺 Puerto Escondido – Visiting an amazing Beach Club and liberating Baby Sea Turtles [EN/DE] by
@travelshots"Villasol" is the name of the beach club that caught my attention after watching some YouTube videos. It is located on the slightly secluded Bacocho Beach. Our cab ride over sandy dirt roads made us a bit skeptical, but when we arrived and spotted the pool shining turquoise blue against a backdrop of numerous palm trees, just steps from the sea, we were immediately sure we would enjoy our day here.
