Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll be presenting today's edition of #TravelDigest. In our featured posts, we have a temple in Bangkok, Thailand, a lake in Chile, and a view of the Aurora borealis in Iceland. Enjoy! This is probably one of the most difficult curation schedules that I've encountered. There are so many good posts! I'm so sorry to those I initially deemed worthy to be in the honorable mentions, but I had to drop them later when there are so many in this digest. This is how difficult curating travel posts is.
If you are into art, Wat Suthat is also the place to go. The stunning murals inside of it were painted with a unique technique and also it is considered the largest in the country depicting mythical legends of Thailand . It鈥檚 unfortunate that I didn't find a tour guide for this temple because I am sure it would have been amazing to learn the murals of the temple and its significance from the locals instead finding it out by some research on the internet.

Lake Chungar谩 is surrounded by volcanoes, other smaller lakes, and wild animals like llamas and flamingos. We had a beautiful day there. Nice sunny weather. Next to the Bolivian border, Lake Chungar谩 is the highest lake in Chile and the world. You can鈥檛 navigate in it like you can in Titicaca lake in Bolivia. But this latter lake does not hit 4000 meters above sea level.

From there we made our way to Hofn, found our campground, checked in, and made possibly the biggest decision of the trip, even though we didn't know it yet. We decided to go to the famous epic beach even though it was night time to check it out. So we drive over and then find out to go to the beach you have to pay because it's actually private. At this point, we've seen a little bit of Aroura in the distance, and figure we're already here an might as well. So we paid the 5$ or so to head down the road to the beach.
