Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. We have another great selection of travel posts for your again and I have to say, it's getting really difficult to choose the best posts every day. Today we have a canal journey in UK, a cave adventure in Vietnam and a city tour in Rio in Brazil. Enjoy!!
"Even though we left Asia behind 10 months ago after 7 years in the Philippines the memories are fresh and the canal has reminded us of our past before with the Filipino named boat ‘Mabuhay‘ and now this one called ‘Asia’. It triggers a wry smile on my face and at this time my mind wanders to those I know out there struggling to rebuild their homes recently devastated by Typhoon Odette."

" After lunch, I informed the group that there were two possibilities for exploring Ton Cave, the concluding cave of our journey. The first alternative was to swim for 100 meters, then walk on the dry channel until we reached a cave with a ladder, which we would all climb up by clipping on to the lifeline. The second option is to swim out the other side. The second option was chosen by everyone. It was a great decision and a lot of fun. "

" I am more than certain we did miss some great spots - even though we had a month, for around half of it we had to divide pleasure with work, while we also wanted to see places outside of the city (which I will of course describe in blog posts as well). We did try to visit as many spots as we could that we both researched on the internet as well as asked our new Brazilian friends about."
